[Public Alpha] Supabase Go SDK

Oct 5, 2026

What's new#

The Supabase Go SDK is on pkg.go.dev as a public alpha.

It covers two surfaces:

  • Database: A chained query builder over PostgREST for reads (filtered, ordered, and paginated), writes (insert, upsert, update, and delete), and Postgres function calls. A query can run as a signed-in user, so that user's Row Level Security policies apply.
  • Auth: Server-side verification of end-user access tokens. GetClaims checks a token against the project's published signing keys and returns its claims. GetUser fetches the user's current profile from the Auth server.

Shared options cover a custom HTTP client, global headers, automatic retries, and debug logging through log/slog.

Alpha means the public API may change in breaking ways between releases until v1.0.0. This release does not cover Storage, Realtime, or Edge Functions.
